What is SSL
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) was developed by Netscape Communications in 1995 to provide secure data exchange on the internet. It is currently used in virtual trading operations in the world.

SSL ensures that the sent information can be deciphered absolutely and only at the correct address. Information is automatically encrypted before it is sent and can only be decrypted by the right recipient. The confidentiality and integrity of the transaction and information is protected by verification on both sides.

The security strength of SSL depends on the size of the session key. The largest SSL session key is 128 bits, offering very high security for virtual trading transactions. 128-bit encryption is nearly impossible to maliciously crack/decrypt. In addition, even if a crack occurs, the person who broke the password cannot see any other session, since the session key is used only in one session and then destroyed.

The strength of the encryption method used in the data stream depends on the key length used. Key length is very important for the protection of information. E.g; A transmission over 8 bits is extremely easy to decode. Bit refers to a number of binary counting system. A bit can take 2 different values, 0 or 1. 8 bits contain only 28=256 possible different keys. A computer can reach a conclusion by examining these 256 different possibilities in turn. The SSL protocol uses 40-bit and 128-bit encryption. There are 2128 different keys in 128-bit encryption, and it takes a lot of time and money to decrypt it. It would take 67 years for a malicious person to decrypt the 128-bit password after investing $1 million. As can be seen from this example, the SSL security system provides complete and absolute protection.

On-Site Data Security

Credit card information is not kept in the database of our site. The credit card transaction page transmits the card information directly to the bank's POS system and notifies the customer of the transaction result. Credit card information is not recorded in any database by us in any way and is not transferred by e-mail or similar methods. Even we cannot access the credit card information transferred as a result of the online transaction.

Some of the aforementioned security measures have nothing to do with the bank's POS system, some of the precautions must be taken by the store owner, and the necessary precautions have been taken at the maximum level in the design of our e-commerce system.
